After having new Laptop with Win 8.1

Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility client is not working

Previously on Win 7 it was working

The version I am installing is anyconnect-win-3.1.06073-web-deploy-k9.exe

Please suggest.

According to your description, it should be app edition compatibility problem, please try its latest version for test.

I've been searching all the Internet for a solution to this problem, however I was unable to find it.

So I've opened a service request with Cisco and they asked me to run the commands below in my ASA:

ssl server-version any

ssl client-version any

ssl encryption rc4-sha1 dhe-aes128-sha1 dhe-aes256-sha1 aes128-sha1 aes256-sha1 3des-sha1

After that I was able to run AnyConnect automatic install on any Windows 8.1.

PS: It is also important to add your ASA's HTTPS URL address to Trusted Sites if your running AnyConnect automatic install using Internet Explorer.
