FTP user@ftp.website.com
Not really a bug, more of a silliness. When visiting some ftp sites in windows explorer for which i havea username, simply typing the address of the ftp does not allow me access to the ftp site. This, as i understand it, is actually an issue with the ftp site because windows has not provided a username and password. However, it would seem that windows should be able to figure it out and ask the user for a username and password. The workaround is to go about it the proper way and type ftp://user@ftp.website.comto bring up the password dialogue. That's fine, but it doesnt record the 'user@' in the history drop down, i have to retype it from scratch every time.Is there an option, or is this just windows silliness?ExUbuntu
