FTP transfer problem in Windows 7 Professional in Command Line (cmd)
The problem is represented below: Connected to 10.46.114.146. 220 (vsFTPd 2.2.2) 331 Please specify the password. 230 Login successful. 250 Directory successfully changed. 200 Switching to Binary mode. 200 PORT command successful. Consider using PASV. 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for file_get.zip (26214400 bytes). 226 Transfer complete. ################################################### ftp: 26214400 bytes received in Seconds Kbytes/sec. ########################### ^ ######## ^ ########## 7,863334,32221 Goodbye. <- THIS IS PROBLEM As you can see last line should be divided in three section 7,86 (first "^"), 3334,32 (second "^") and last one "221 Goodbye" as last message in FTP transfer. So it has to look like this: a ftp: 26214400 bytes received in 7,86 Seconds 3334,32 Kbytes/sec. Is there any patch/update on work around how to fix this problem? Server FTP works on one of Linux distribution (propably Fedora)and I'm trying download some file from FTP to Windows 7. In addition I have the same result when doing it manually and by scripts.

Hi, On different version of vsFTPd 2.0.0 it works correctly. Is there any way to start cmd line as administrator from other cmd - I've found "runas" command. I'm using simple Windows's command line. Next step I'll contact software providers as you said. I read changelog for vsFTPd but I can't find any reasons to stop working with Windows 7.

Hi, I would like to know what FTP software you are using. Is it compatible with Windows 7? Please right click the script, select run as administrator. Also, you can disable UAC for a test. Meanwhile, please contact the software providers to check the issue.
