we have a FIM sync server (FIM 2010 R2) , 2 FIM service (FIM 2010 R2) and 2 FIM portal (FIM 2010 R2). One of the FIM service node has reporting installed.

We upgraded or patched  FIM sync , 2 FIM portal , 1 FIM service node to build to "3451" but the FIM service node with reporting installed could not be upgraded. we were receiving errors and finally we removed reporting from the node and the upgrade or patch went successful.

Now all the servers are at the same build 3451 but now when we try to install FIM reporting using change mode we get following error after entering Server manager details - 

We made sure that the patch is installed on SCSM , dataware house servers , problem FIM service node.

We still get above prompt while installing FIM reporting.

Please suggest how to by pass this and make sure FIM reporting gets installed on FIM service node
