FAST HELP NEEDED! EXPECTING CRUCIAL EMAILS FROM MY SCHOOL REGARDING COLLEGE COURSES STARTING ON MONDAY! I AM UNABLE TO UNLINK MY WINDOWS LIVE IDs
I have 2 Windows Live email accounts: (personal account) & (my student account through my college) and I thought that linking them together (along with my Yahoo and Gmail accounts) would be a good idea as I thought that by doing so I'd cut out navigational time to each site thereby enabling me to dedicate more time to reading my school email etc. since it's my top priority but boy was I WRONG! Now all of my email accounts BUT my college account are jumbled together (along with the mega spam/junk mail through my imsaved40 address*), and I'm having a great deal of trouble telling which messages came through which email address which is causing me to PANIC because I'm EXPECTING some EXTREMELY IMPORTANT /TIME SENSITIVE emails right now about my upcoming classes STARTING NEXT WEEK.
BELOW YOU’LL FIND (COPY AND PASTED) WHAT I TRIED PER YOUR INSTRUCTIONS…._____________________________________________________________________________
Unlink your Windows Live ID
If you stop using a linked Windows Live ID (The e-mail address and password that you use to sign in to Windows Live programs and services such as Windows Live Hotmail and Windows Live Messenger; Microsoft services such as Xbox LIVE, MSN, and Office Live; and anywhere else that you see the Windows Live ID logo.) , you may want to unlink (Disconnecting the relationship you've established between existing Windows Live ID accounts.) it.
To unlink a Windows Live ID:
Sign in to your account summary page with your Windows Live ID (The e-mail address and password that you use to sign in to Windows Live programs and services such as Windows Live Hotmail and Windows Live Messenger; Microsoft services such as Xbox LIVE, MSN, and Office Live; and anywhere else that you see the Windows Live ID logo.) .
On the left side, click Linked IDs.
(**I DON'T KNOW WHY BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT DOES NOT GIVE ME THIS OPTION!!!)
3. On the Manage Linked IDs page, next to the Windows Live ID that you want to unlink, click **Unlink.
On the Unlink a Windows Live ID page, click Unlink.
Note
Unlinking a Windows Live ID will not close that Windows Live ID.1 person needs an answerI do too
