Exum Enabled _ False

How does the Lync\SFB client determine if voicemail\exchange UM is enabled?

Basically a user is enabled for voicemail but client is showing "Exum Enabled" false

EWS shows as OK.

I am can't find data on how to trouble shoot through this.

Hi Alistair K.

Do you mean, how to enable a user for Exchange UM and Voice mail?.

In Lync/Skype from PowerShell with command: Get-CsUser "sip:user@domain.com" you can check if the Parameter: "ExUmEnabled" is appearing as False or True also check if the Parameter "EnterpriseVoiceEnabled" appears as False or True.

Regards.

Thanks all for the responses

So in our case

msExchUMEnabledFlags = 831 was set

However

proxyAddresses was missing

EUM:<addresss@xx.com>;phone-context=<Dial Plan FQDN> &

eum:<phone number>;phone-context=<Dial Plan FQDN>

After setting these all started working
