Installed Windows 7 RC1 x86 (7100) on my freshly formatted lappy. Everything went very smoothly -- quick install, driver compatability, etc. The only hiccup I've experience so far is incredibly slow internet speeds. I've browsed around various forums, and even tried the methods suggest in Windows 7 RC1 - Fresh Install, Slow internet, help?to no avail. My other two desktops, both running XP SP3, get speeds upwards of 1.5 mb/s via torrents and occasionally from websites, so I don't believe my ISP is the issue. I also have transferred 30+ gb of data from my desktops onto the lappy after 7 was installed, and I got rates upwards of 10+ mb/s, so I don't believe it to be my network either. Any help appreciated.
