Hi, Firstly, please let us know how you stored the hard drive into an image file. Is it a system image? Or is it a image which stores in a Bitlocker encrypted dirve? Regards. Jeremy Wu TechNet Community Support

Hi, My protected Bit-locker drive got corrupted, so I extracted the content of the hard drive to another external hard drive using the command repair-bde g: i:\mydata.img -rp [MyRecoveryPassword] reference: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928201 and it created an *.img file that is 131GB. Hi, Firstly, please let us know what error messages you received when you extracted your data from the .img file using ISObuster, WinImg, WinRAR. Meanwhile, based on my research, please try the following: 1. Due to the image file may be too large, please recover one volume instead of the whole drive and see how it works. 2. Use a virtual CD/DVD drive, mount the image file and see how it works. Hope this helps. Jeremy Wu TechNet Community Support
