I have Buffalo Drivestation 320GB USB hard drive connected to my pc with Vista Home Premium (32-bit). I want to share the drive so I can access it from my other pc (XP Media Center Edition 2005). The drive is for backups so I power it off after the backup is done.The problem is that everytime I power on the external drive I have to enable the sharing all over again. I can access the drive from both of my computers and make the backups with no problem, but it's very annoying to set the sharing every time.There's no problem with the other shares that I have, they stay shared after reboots and everything.Thanks.
