My hard drive is partitioned also. I used my Acronis True Image 10 software to increase the size of C: by reallocating some of D: to C:. This was quite some time ago, and I don't remember my steps now, but it worked like a charm.
Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now

The easiest way is to download the program Partition magic 8 ( it is not free but you can get the trial version i guess ), after installing the program you start it than you see the C drive and the unalloctied space beside it , Right click on the C drive choose resize or use the wizard to resize it follow the instractions and be carefull with your work , any fault will let you install your whole computer again and you will loose your windows, programs .....etc ,also when you install the program he asks you to make emergency disk and if you have a floopy on your computer you can make it for such cases .Good luck
