Exporting LAN profile XML file
Hi All,In Windows 7 command prompt I am trying to perform the following command:netsh lan export profile folder=c:\after the command is performed the Local Area Connection.xml of all interfaces should be exported to my C:\, however, the following error occurs:Interface: Local Area ConnectionProfile File Name: c:\Local Area Connection.xmlError exporting profile of interface Local Area Connection:File access is denied. No profile was exported.Does anyone know why this is occuring and how the error can be resolved in Windows 7?I am logged in a workstation administrator with all of the possible rights but for some reason this wont export in Windows 7 but will export successfully with Windows XP SP3Any help much appreciated.Thanks.

You would need to run the command prompt with Administrator rights to write to the root of the drive.I suggest you save to a subfolder instead. Perhaps one created for the purpose. Regards Jens Peter Karlsen.
