Explorer folders (right-pane) blank for several seconds
The last few months I have noticed that often, when I open a new explorer window, the icons of files in the right pane will appear for a second or two, and then, entirely disappear. I have usually clicked out and then opened up a new Explorer window; everything is fine. Occasionally I have just waited several seconds and then they re-appear. The files aren't moving/disappearing, just the icons for them. Is there something I can do about this? I really don't think I have tinkered with any Windows settings in quite a while, so I'm really not sure what is causing this. I have a dual-core cpu and 2 gigs of RAM, and this happens at any time, not when I'm doing a lot of intensive work on the laptop. Any suggestions?MS Office 2003 Windows XP1 person needs an answerI do too
