Expanding a Windows XP Partition on a VMware virtual hard disk
I have a Windows XP operating system in a VMware virtual machine. I want to increase the size of the hard drive. Currently it has one 50GB partition on one 50GB virtual hard drive. I increase the size of the virtual hard drive from 50 GB to 100 GB in VMware. Then, can I just use Windows disk management to increase the size of my partition from the operating system side to use all of the 100GB that it now sees? Or will that corrupt my data or cause some problem such that I really need to use a third party tool like EAUSUS inside of Windows to expand Windows onto the full size of the virtual hard disk? Thanks for your input!1 person needs an answerI do too
