Hi Everyone, I have an issue with a machine running Windows 7 Enterprise x86. I has been running perfectly for over 4 months and then I was informed earlier that it decided not to work. When the machine is booted up, all seems OK. But when you log on you are faced with a black screen that states that Windows has not been activated, even though it has. You cannot do anything other that Ctrl+Alt+Del and start Task Manager. Ive tried booting it in Safe Mode, running Startup Repair, and even the Memory Diagnostic Tool, all to no avail. I tried using the Command Prompt to change the product key using the 'slmgr.vbs -ipk' but this does not work either. So at this point I am fresh out of ideas. The error appears when I start to shut down the PC. It reads: 'Exception Processing Message 0xc0000135 Parameters 0x75755928 0x75755928 0x75755928 0x75755928' Help Please!

Thank you for replying. I cannot perform the initial action that you have suggested as I cannot run the command prompt with elevated rights as I can only use the 'Run' box from Task Manager (unless there is a certain way to do this). I do not get the option to do anything else as nothing else loads. The same thing happens when I boot the machine into safe mode, this was one of the first things that I tried. I am yet to try a SFC scan so I will perform that and report back.
