Excel 97 expert - can't stand new version - HELP
Hi, i use excel and office 97 extensively, mostly excel. can i use on new computer i have had inflicted upon me? - i don't like new 2010 menu (or no menu i should say) and am too old to revise all my tool button images and macros.1 person needs an answerI do too

Open office?Or, Office 2007 can be patched with a third-party add-on to give the oldstyle menus. Not sure if this is also possible on 2010.These menu-changes are a big issue for speed-typists who use shortcut keys instead of the mouse, because these keys no longer work. I wish just MS developers would get their brains in-gear and 'think consequences' before making such changes.

You can uninstall Office 2010 and install Office 97 (assuming that you have the install media), but first see this thread:Installing Office 97 breaks UAC setting UI in Windows 7 (long, but the issue seems to have been solved).
