USB Flash Drive (Cruzer) formatted for Windows 7 & 8 was reformatted after/while inserting the flash drive into a Windows XP Home Edition laptop.
- When re-inserting the Flash Drive back into Windows 7 or 8 laptop, the flash drive was/is no longer recognized or indicates Unknown USB Devise, Devise Descriptor Request Failed; also displays Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43),
- Attempted to Roll Back the Flash Drive reformatting on the Windows XP laptop, to no avail.
- Attempted to identify the Windows XP recent activity, so I could hopefully identify where or if the files were on the Windows XP laptop, to no avail.
- Attempted to reformat the Flash Drive by updating the drivers in Windows 8, to access the data.
- Attempted to Roll Back the Flash Drive reformatting to previous version on the Windows 8 laptop, to no avail, not savvy enough.
- A reference was made in Windows Help, Restore Files or Folders using File History regarding original markers to remaining on Flash Drive.
- Attempted open/view/ view a copy of the Recent Documents on the Windows 8 Laptop, to no avail, Windows cannot identify Path
