Everything lumped together.
I recently built a new computer. Installed, a new SATA drive as C:/D: As my previous computer (XP) had a perfectly good SATA drive - which had been partitioned into three part - I simply moved the drive from one computer to the other. Now, instead of being in individual partitions, the whole drive content becomes visible when any of the drive letters are opened (E:/F:/G:) It would be nice to have it back showing each individual partition when I open a particular drive, not everything just lumped together. Suggestions?

That seems odd. Like you I would have expected each of the old partitions to have a separate and distinct drive letter. What do you see in the Disk Management utility?1. Click the Start orb.2. Right-click on Computer.3. Choose Manage.4. Click on Disk Management.-Noel

Is there any important files in this drive? If so, please back them up and then repartition the drive to see if the issue can be resolved. For more information, please refer to: Create and format a hard disk partition.
