Event ID 7023 The microsoft Antimalware Service service terminatesd with the following error, The binding handle is invalid.
When I boot up, the Microsoft Security Essentials icon in the bottom right is red. Does not always happen, once in a while it is green. But when it is red, and I click on the icon, it says "Microsoft Security Essentials isn't monitoring your computer because the programs service stopped. You should restart it now." If I click on Start now, it starts and turns green. When it is red I check the Microsoft Antimalware service, it is set to automatic, but is stopped, click on start and starts. Have made sure all prior antivirus software is gone, and do not find any infections. Have done lots of research on this and don't seem to get it able to load 100% of the time. (loads 10% of the time??) Running XP SP2 and Microsoft Security Essentials 1.0.1611.0, also happened on both betas. Thought the new release would fix. Thanks in advance for your interest. Sorry, I mean xp SP31 person got this answerI do too
