Event ID 12294-Directory-Services-Sam Error
Hello,
i have win2008 dc with sp2, Users that have accounts that keep getting locked out for no apparent reason , and after 5 min automattically open lock .
i dont use any policy.
Please help .

Hello,
please check event viewer logs to identify the source computer for logon failures. Once done, go to it and check that there is application / services that are runnng under these accounts with wrong passwords.
Another possible cause is viruses.

Regarding the error in Event ID, the issue is related to server. Please contact Windows Server forum to troubleshoot the issue.
