Event ID: 3036 Gatherer windows 7 A server error occurred. Check that the server is available.
Recently experienced this issue with (only) couple of Windows 7 systems. Mapped network drives are assigned by GPO, user will be able to see all network drives, but won't be able to access any of the data, windows explorer will just keep on loading and loading.... followed by the warning in event id: ----------------------------------------------------------------- Log Name: Application Source: Microsoft-Windows-Search Date: 11/17/2010 10:58:49 AM Event ID: 3036 Task Category: Gatherer Level: Warning Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: machine id Description: The content source <mapi://{S-1-5-21-1747471279-450301119-620655208-7497}/> cannot be accessed. Hi, First, I would like to ask some questions below: 1. Do you have Mapped network drives in the library? 2. Have you already opened the CSC (Client Side Caching) Offline Files? 3. Can you access the Network folders when you manually Open them? You may try to check the network drive’s Ownership, if the owner of the network drives are empty in the list. Please kindly take the ownership to you. Please refer to the following link: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproperf/thread/f861eeb2-cc67-4591-8fd3-82f7d5e0bc19
