Event 5719 - Effecting our remote VPN users
Has anyone have a problem with thier event logs with these event errors? This computer was not able to set up a secure session with a domain controller in domain SCPDSOE due to the following: %%1311 This may lead to authentication problems. Make sure that this computer is connected to the network. If the problem persists, please contact your domain administrator. ADDITIONAL INFO If this computer is a domain controller for the specified domain, it sets up the secure session to the primary domain controller emulator in the specified domain. Otherwise, this computer sets up the secure session to any domain controller in the specified domain. Hi, Thanks for the post. This log indicates the computer could not connect to the domain controller. Please do the following. To verify that general network connectivity is available. For instance, check file shares, network printers, or availability of the Internet to verify that your computer has network connectivity. Also, you may check the following situations. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/938449 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/247922 Also, whether you can establish a VPN connection? If you cannot, this should be caused by the PDC server that cannot be reached. If this Event Log come from a Server, this also indicates it is a PDC role issue.
