Errors in Mapping Network Drives - Possibly Caused by Security Policy Settings
I'm trying to map a network drive (X:) on one computer to a subfolder in another computer on the same network (//192.168.x.x/Data). When I try to map the specified folder (in the remote computer) to a network drive designation on the host computer, I receive the following error message:"The mapped network drive could not be created because the following error has occurred: The account is not authorized to log in from this station."What security policy settings (group and/or local) could have caused this error to occur, and to what should they be set? Is there anything else that I need to set in order for the mapping to occur? Please advise. Thanks.V/r,John B.1 person needs an answerI do too
