Error with Microsoft Outlook 2007
I am having a reading from outlook saying I have a error in a set of folders that is not going to open. Its telling me to "Quit outlook & all mail-enabled applications, & use the Inbox repair tool (Scanpst.exe) to diagnose & repair errors in the file". After searching for the tool, then downloading the tool, going though various Microsoft sites, creating a copy of Outlook, waiting for problems to get installed, restarting the machine & still nothing happens. Going to the help screen & following every step to a T, I am not having success! Can someone help me on what must be done or I am going to have to waist more money to find another Geek sqaud member, of money I do not have, but losing information everyday, because my earnings depends on my Outlook. Can someone help me. Thank you for your patience & concern

Try the following steps: 1. Close Outlook Express and turn off the computer if Outlook Express is running slowly, not responding or will not open. Rebooting the system and the program will often fix this issue. Once the computer is completely shut down, turn it back on and open Outlook Express. 2. Clean up Internet Explorer's temporary files. If these files are damaged, Outlook Express can have problems displaying messages. Open a new Internet Explorer window and click on "Tools." Click "Delete Browsing History" and choose "Delete Files." When an alert window opens, click "Yes" to confirm that these files should be deleted. 3. Delete emails that appear suspicious. Look for emails from unknown senders or with unexpected attachments. If possible, delete them prior to opening them and empty the deleted items folder. Damage or infected files can cause serious problems in Outlook Express. 4. Scan for viruses. Email messages are one of the most common vehicles for viruses, so update the antivirus program often and scan frequently. If the program has a setting to scan incoming emails for viruses, be sure to enable this. 5. Run the "System File Checker." This program will check for damaged files in Outlook Express and Internet Explorer, as well as other Microsoft programs. To run this application, click the "Start" button and then click "Run." Type "sfc /scannow" (without quotes) in the "Open" box. Click "OK." Follow the prompts and restart the computer when System File Checker is complete. ....................................
