Error while configuring Response Group in lync 2010 through Reponse Group Configuration Tool

Hi,

          While configuring Response Group using response group configuration tool we are facing an unknown error.

Hi,

    Well the issue is using Response Group Config tool, after putting in the sip and tel number when we try to click on the play a welcome message check box it gives us the above error.

    Below is the Error:

     Response Group Config Tool Failure

     An unknown error occured. The operation cannoct complete successfully. Pl contact the admin if this problem persist.

Please try the following solution about the problem:

1, Please make sure the the Anonymous Authentication and Forms Authentication is disabled in the 'Rgsconfig' authentication of IIS manager.

2, Create a Regkey "DisableLoopbackCheck" in the Registry like this:

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\LSA
DWORD: DisableLoopbackCheck

Hi,

     We fortunately got a solution on this, I tried accessing the website from one of our client machines(Win 7) and I we got it running successfully.

Hi,

I know that this is very old topic but maybe someone will find it like I did.

Adding Lync Server address to the IE compatibility view worked for me.
