I installed Windows 8 Pro on my machine with a key from my friend. Now, I've got my own MSDN key for Windows 8 Pro edition. When I try to change the product key using powershell, I get the following error,

Error: 0xC004F069 On a Computer running Microsoft Windows non-code edition, run slui.exe 0x2a 0xC004F069 to display the error text.

That problem is (sometimes) caused by a bad time setting - check your Region, date and time settings.

That didnt work . Anything that i can try . I have a MSDN key now . Trying to activate it on the current version of developer preview installed.

I have that problem too, when i go into my PC info the activation part says: Product Key: not available i try everything that i can do but still its not activating

run this in your command prompt as administrator.... slmgr -upk   

then run        

slmgr -ipk

for safer side install all the drivers for your computer...

now sync the time of ur pc with internet...by going to date side...and sync it...(its impt)

now run your crack..or insert key,,,....

Do not use /UPK, it is not recommended to do this, you can corrupt your installation.

It is not needed, it may remove than the expected Windows product key so you could lose functionality.

By removing the Windows Product key, you may also disable functionality if a licensing check takes place, you do not have a key installed so features check for licensing you may be broken.

Should never have to use UPK.
