Hi Amit,
First, please ping the computers with each other by IP Address and computer name to see how it works. Access Windows Vista computer’s
share with both \\computer name\folder and XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX\folder to see if they are works.
The error code 0x80070035 indicates that the network path is not found. This behavior occurs if the NetBIOS over TCP IP is not enabled
in Windows Vista. Please follow the steps below.
1. Click "Start", input "NCPA.CPL" (without quotation marks) and press Enter.
2. Right click on the connection that you use for the local connection, and then click "Properties".
3. Click Continue button to verify the administrator permission.
4. Click to select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", and then click "Properties".
5. Click "Advanced" button in the open window. On the "WINS" tab, click to select "Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP", and then click "OK"
to save the setting.
The following article introduces NetBIOS over TCP/IP

Also, please ensure the firewall on both computers are set the enable “File and Printer Sharing”.

Dear Sabrina,
We have got the Temparary Solutions that after disabling Symantec Anti-virus in Windows VISTA SP2 (Extra MS Patches ) , we are able to access the machines & even able to access share the Files Now . But in some machines with VISTA
SP2 without (Extra MS Patches ) ,its working Fine & no requirement to Stop Symantec Services .
So, what can be Reason behind it.

Hi,
As it is able to access the machine and shared file when temporary disable the Symantec Anti-virus, this issue should be caused by the Symantec Anti-virus
program which blocked the access.
I suggest contact the Symantec support to reconfigure the settings to allow it.
Regards,
Sabrina

Dear Sabrina,
After disabling the antivirus firewall settings, we are able to access the VISTA machines, but it risky at Domain Level for all affected machines.
Hence, we have forwarded the request to Symantec Team & they have us their analysis:
1- Some machines VISTA SP2 with Updates are having Problems
of Error while accessing machine.
2- Some machines VISTA SP2 without Updates are perfect.
So, machines with VISTA SP2 with Updates are having Conflict with Symantec Firewall, In that machines there are more than 40 MS Updates .How to
identify which MS update is having the Problem & how can we remove it.
