Hi, May I know the following: 1. Where the shared resources are located, on your local network or the remote network? 2. The Operating System of the shared resources’ hosts. At this time, please try the following: 1. Check if you can ping the host of the shared resources when the VPN connection is established. 2. Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on the VPN client. If you are using the Windows VPN client, please try: 1) Go to “Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections”. 2) Right-click the dial-up connection and click Properties. 3) Switch to the Networking tab, click Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and then click Properties. 4) Click Advanced, switch to the WINS tab, select “Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP” and click OK three times to apply the setting. Hope this helps. Thanks. Nicholas Li - MSFT

Go to “Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections”. 2. Right-click the VPN connection and click Properties. 3. Switch to the Networking tab, click Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and then click Properties. 4. Click Advanced, if the “Use default gateway on remote network” option is checked, please uncheck it and then click OK; or vice versa. Hope this helps. Thanks. Nicholas Li - MSFT
