Hi,· Did you check the Microsoft’s Kb article that is mentioned below?· Were you able to connect to the wireless network before on the system?· Since when are you facing this issue?· Do you remember making any changes to the system? I would suggest you to disable the Firewall and the security software on the system and check whether the issue is resolved.Note: Once you have done testing, turn on the firewall and the security software on the system. If you have not tired the steps and the Fix it from the Microsoft article, I would suggest you to run the Fix it that is present in the article given below, if that does that resolve the issue then, I would suggest you to manually follow the steps mentioned in the article.Error message when you try to run the Wireless Network Setup Wizard after you update to Windows XP Service Pack 2, Service Pack 3 or Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005http://support.microsoft.com/kb/871122 I would suggest you to check the article mentioned below.http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/xpnetwork/thread/a9d8cb4d-e2e8-4876-bae6-cc3f95a5fbda Thank you and Regards. To find the IP address of the router follow the steps mentioned below. i. Click on start, then run and type in command, press ok. ii. When the command prompt comes up, type ipconfig and presses enter. iii. In the information presented to you the default gateway is the IP address of your router. iv. Just type in exit and press enter to exit the command prompt.c. In the router page the WEP key is mostly stored under security link, but the link may vary in your router page. You can check the WEP key in that page and set the key there. Thank you and Regards.
