I am getting the following error after an automatic update. Can anybody tell me why I can't install this update please ? I suggest that you manually download the update, then disable anti-virus and install it. Please refer KB963660.Arthur Xie - MSFT

If manually installing the update results in the same error ... 1) Were any hacks done to activate Windows 7 ? 2) Was Media Player open when the attempt to install the update was done ? How to read the windowsupdate.logMowGreen MVP Data Center Management - Update Services Consumer Security
