Error code: 0x80780036
My Windows 7 Professional backup using Win 7 Backup and Restore terminated with "Error code: 0x80780036" but I cannot find any references anywhere to indicate what might cause this error. Any ideas?

Hi, I would like to confirm the following questions first: 1. How did you backup the files, via network drive, external hard drive or DVD? 2. Do you have enough space to backup the files? 3. Does it work if you try to backup a text file only? Based on the current situation, you may verify and start the following services first • Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider service • Volume Shadow Copy Service • Windows Backup If it does not work, I also would like to suggest you disable the security software and test the issue in Clean Boot. 1. Backup to 2nd internal drive. 2. More than enough space, over 250GB available. 3. Did not try text files only, doing full backup with image. This was not the first time I had done a backup, but this was the first time I ever received any errors. Closed out Backup and Restore and tried a 2nd time. Backup completed successfully.
