Hello Friends,

I seem to have the problem where I am unable to bypass, this update as every time i go to do it, I get this error message.

I have tried to go into all types of the safe modes but it wants to attempt to update it every time before the login screen.

I took the hard drive out and pluged it into my laptop and im able to browse the files as if it was an external hard drive.

My question is, what file can i delete or replace that will keep it from attempting to update before logging in as i do not feel like moving important files to another hard drive, wipe then rewrite the os. I searched the file wiashext.dll and multiple files with the same name come up, and non of them have been modified since 2014. so im thinking that there is a different file that i need to replace/ delete.

EDIT: Also, sometimes it will display Fatal error instead of just error.

This error could be caused by not restarting the computer after installing a service pack update or a critical update then installing other updates. To resolve this, perform a system restore to an earlier point before the error message began. See How to refresh, reset, or restore your PC.

Install critical update(s) or service pack update and restart computer when prompted. Next proceed with the standard updates and verify proper operation with no error messages.
