Error Code 0x800ccc0f - Outlook Outgoing Mail smtp problem
I have run the "Tools" menu to set up my "Yahoo" Plus email account to run with Outlook 2003. I can receive email, but, I cannot send email. In the Outgoing SMTP field, I have entered the number "465" or "587" as recommended, without any change. I have attempted the "Test Message" every which way, but, I get the error code "0x800ccc0f" every time, indicating that I should check my "email address" field".I have re-typed my email address in that field a number of times now without my outgoing test message working. As I stated, I can receive, but, I cannot send. Can anybody give me a working solution ? I've already reviewed the MS Solution Center for Troubleshooting, and, I have printed numerous "step-by-step" solutions (all basically the same, which I've tried) Is there a known "glitch" that I must circumnavigate in this connection ?I need someone's savvy answer with expertise.
