Error Code 0x80070005. I'm also not allowed to schedule an automated tasks.
Dell Dimension 8100, XP Home Edition upgrade with SP3 installed. This computer only lists one logon account and it is listed as the administrator account. I too saw and tried the fix-it and received the notice that SP3 is installed and so the fix couldn't run. I follow the MicroSoft step-by-steps to schedule a defrag.exe from windows system 32 and even went back & put in password to account, yet no matter what I try I can't get past the lock out. Are others still stuck like me and who's got the answer? 2 people need an answerI do too

YOUR LINK IS TO the MGADiag.exe to generate data to send to microsoft support.I'm not sure we're connecting yet. I have a scheduling error. Not a genuine windows error. So what is the reasoning?X
