Error Adding Domain Profile
Windows 7 Professional on the workstation. Windows 2000 server with all updates running Active Directory domain controller, DNS, DHCP. On the Windows 7 computer, it was joined to the domain and had a domain user - working fine. We wanted to add another domain user profile and received the following error: The user could not be added because the following error has occurred: The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed. Per serveral internet searches, removed the computer from the domain, deleted lease from DHCP, deleted computer from Active Directory, renamed computer. Rejoined domain as new computer name. Still unable to add a new domain profile as the local computer administrator or by logging in as the domain administrator. Flushed DNS cache on local workstation, verified DNS server is the domain controller. Removed from domain again, renamed, etc. Rebooted file server and switch. Re-added computer back to the domain and stilll received the same error above. Does anyone have any additional suggestions? Darin
