Error 814--Need Internet Help!
I have a Windows Vista desktop computer that has been working fine for a couple years. I have a wireless router and i've been using my Linksys network adapter to connect to the internet. A few days ago, i stopped getting internet connectivity suddenly. I checked my adapter and I know my router or internet service is not the problem because all of the other computers at my home work fine. When I check the status of my internet connection, it says that the IPv4 and IPv6 are not connected but when I configured my adapter, I included both those. I've tried everything. All my drivers are updated. I moved my computer downstairs to connect it directly to my Netgear router as my last resort, but I got the message Error 814--something about my Ethernet. Using my Registry Mechanic, I scanned my computer and repaired my registry errors. Still, it doesn't work. Help?

Hi, This issue can be caused by the NIC driver is corrupt or missing. Please reinstall the updated driver for your network adapter by visiting the manufacturer’s website.
