Two options: Install Microsoft Security Essentials. It is free and works very well. Small footprint and doesn't have many issues. Visit the Kaspersky support site and submit a service request. Hi, I would like to verify if other programs installation failed due to Windows Installer error? After my research, I find the problematic DLL file should be related to Kaspersky. I suggest running removal tool in Safe Mode. http://support.kaspersky.com/faq/?qid=208279463 Here are some similar posts in Kaspersky forum. You can submit a post there. http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=177969 http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=198007 Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice.
