Error 1222: The network is not present or not started
I have a home network with two computers. I have set it up such that there is file, internet and printer sharing, a set-up that has worked well for some while. Suddenly I could not access the computer that the printer was attached to at all. That computer, though, was still able to access the internet, but could not access its own network location on the computer. I ran Network Diagnostics and HomeGroup Troubleshooters to no avail. I discovered that the Server service was not running and attempted to start it, but I instead recieved the error "Windows could not start the Server service on Local Computer. Error 1222: The network is not present or not started." The LAN diagnostics yeilded no answers. As a result of the server service not working, I cannot share files or the printer, but can somehow get internet to be shared. Please help. Thank you1 person needs an answerI do too
