Error 0x8004210A
After McAfee did an automatic update last week, I have had trouble receiving e-mail messages. No problem sending. If I restart my computer a load of e-mails will come through. I have checked with both my service provider and McAfee and was told that it is a Microsoft problem. Need help.1 person needs an answerI do too

Are you using Outlook Express? McAfee and Norton are the most un-compatible AV programs you can have. Try disabling e-mail scanning. If that does not work, I world strongly advise getting rid of McAfee completely There are free AVs that are compatible and protect you fine.Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that eats up CPUs, slows down sending and receiving, and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for loss of messages. Your up-to-date A/V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more, see:http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 Why you don't need your anti-virus to scan your emailhttp://thundercloud.net/infoave/tutorials/email-scanning/index.htmNote that for some AV programs, it may be necessary to uninstall the program and reinstall in Custom Mode and uncheck e-mail scanning when the option arises.
