When transferring JPEG images from my camera SD memory card to 'My Pictures' Library file by dragging and dropping, or by direct connection to the USB of the camera (Pentax Kx), some of the images transfer but others are corrupted. For these, I get the 0x800703EE
error window or a message to say the image cannot be read as the syntax is in correct.
Initially in the camera, all the images are present and correct, but after trying to download them only some of the JPEG files are visible when the SD memory card is reinserted in the camera. It appears that in the download process the remaining files are
corrupted in some way and no longer retrievable.
Any help would be appreciated as I have lost some very good photographs and don't know what to do in future.

Sounds like you may have some malware infection causing this.
