Error - path cannot be found in Backup and restore wizard of Windows XP.
Original title: Backup not working.I'm trying to set up backup/restore to back up my ocuments every Friday, but when I get to the screen where it asks where I want the data to be backed up it doesn't allow me to enter anything besides what is already there. If I select what is there it says the path can not be found. The strange thing is that I had use this set up, roughly, 6 months ago and then I was able to select wher I wante to ack up the data. It seems the backup/restore program is corrupted. How do I get it back without re-installing Windows XP? Thanks

Hi brbonetti,a) Let’s stop the Volume Shadow Copy service and restart the machine.i. Type ‘services.msc’ in the Start > Run box & press Enter.ii. In services window, locate Volume Shadow Copy service in the services list.iii. Under service status, right click on ‘Volume Shadow Copy’ service and select Stop.iv. Close the services window. Hi Debleena,Thanks for your prompt response.I tried stoping and starting the Volume Shadow Services as you suggested and then retried setting up bakup schedule, but it still stops at the "Backup, Type, Destination and Name" window. When I clik "Browse" the window changes color for a few seconds and then changes back to orignal color, but doesn't let me change the place to save the backup. If I click on Next it opens a new window saying "\\xxxx.yyyyyy is not a valid drive, or you do not have access". Thanks Bruno
