End Program (e.g. c2c,136c) not responding
When shutting down or logging off Windows XP srvc pck3, I keep getting this error message: End Program-1184, 13cc, 4b8 (it changes everytime I logg off) and it only happens with my user.I have performed a "clean boot" and I have isolated the problem to one program that reads "Adobe LMService" in the System Configuration Utility under Services tab, I thought this was part of Adobe Photoshop so I uninstalled it but it did not remove this program. When I enable this program I continue to have the same errors when logging off or shutting down. The other Adobe programs stills installed are: Acrobat, Adobe Acrobat Connect Add-in, Adobe air, Adobe Flash player 10activeX, Adobe flash player 10plugin, Adobe reader 9.3.4, and Adobe shockwave player 11.5. I don't which in might contain the "Adobe LMService".How can I know which program to remove or do I unstill all this Adobe programs? Please Help!1 person needs an answerI do too

Please Help! From BleepingComputer.com:This is Adobe's license management service that is used to make sure you are not using a pirated copy of their software. It does this by examining your hardware on your computer and asking you to reregister if this changes. This can not be disabled as it will reenable when you use one of their products. From what I've seen, enough people must have complained about this because the complaints seem to be several years ago and Adobelmsvc.exe seems to be no longer present for more recent versions of Adobe products. At the very least, it's not installed with either Acrobat 8 or Acrobat 9. And it certainly shouldn't be part of Adobe's free programs, including Reader, Flash player, Shockwave player, or the various plug-ins.It may have been installed along with Photoshop, so now that you have uninstalled Photoshop, try disabling the service as follows:Start > Run > services.msc OK Scroll down until you come to Adobe LM Service Right click and select Properties. Click the Stop button and set the Startup type to disabled. Reboot. If the LM service was only required for Photoshop and not also for whatever version of Acrobat you have, you should be OK. Otherwise, Acrobat may complain that it needs to be re-registered or re-authorized or otherwise not work properly.Apparently, one of the complaints about this service was that even if it was disabled (as above), some hidden Adobe code somewhere re-enabled it. If you experience this problem, I suggest that you try asking your question in one of theAdobe forums , probably the Acrobat forum.
