Encrypt all files transparently
Hi, I have a 18 windows 7 PC's in my department. I am looking for some solution where I can protect documents in my department from being used in any system other than the 18 PCs in my department. is there any way I can configure the systems such that all the document in the 18 PC's are encrypted and if any one copies the documents to a pendrive or even if the document is opened in a system and a person uses "Save As" to save it to a pendrive or other removable storages even the copies are encrypted so that they can only be used with the 18 PC's. I was looking at endpoint security of Symantec but it seems very cumbersome. I would like to know if any transparent service is available so that I don't need to train every user. The encrypting file system in windows 7 is transparent but when the documents are copied to non encrypted drives it automatically decrypts the document. Is there any way I can configure the systems so that all files written by the systems are encrypted using some preset keys and the documents are also ?transparently decrypted when the same system opens them? Thanking you, Warm regards, D. Jawahar
