Enabling standby and hibernation mode.
I am unable to use either standby mode or hibernation; this is quite frustrating to me because these power options are no longer accessible on my pc. This may have been caused by a recent update, though I am unsure why this happened. My configuration used to be more flexible than this so I would like help in determining what the best solution is for my computer.1 person needs an answerI do too

Does "unable to use" mean that the options appear in the Turn Off Computer menu but they are grayed out and unclickable (or doe it mean something else)? Please provide additional information about your system:Click Start, Run and in the box enter:msinfo32Click OK, and when the System Summary info appears, click Edit, Select All, Copy and then paste the information back here. For video driver information, expand the Components, click Display, click Edit, Select All, Copy and then paste the information back here. There will be some personal information (like System Name and User Name), and whatever appears to be private information to you, just delete it from the pasted information. This will minimize back and forth Q&A and eliminate guesswork.Do, or do not. There is no try.I decided to save up points for a new puppy instead of a pony!
