Enabling/disabling password protected sharing through command prompt
I've created a program which enables you to easily manage windows shares for media players. One thing I haven't been able to find during the past few months through any search engine, is how to enable/disable password protected sharing (network and sharing center -> advanced sharing settings -> password protected sharing) through command prompt. - It doesn't seem this setting is saved in the registry - I've came across a thread which stated you might be able to set it through "netsh" but I haven't found the solution yet. It would really help me (and others) out if anyone would be able to answer this question. Thanks in advance.

Hi, As far as I know, you can set modify or delete passwords for user account via command, but I’m afraid there is no way to enable Password Protected Sharing via command. Best Regards DalePlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
