Enable TMP through Powershell without reboot

Hi

Currently looking at BitLocker in Windows 8 and if it's possible to enable it without user input.

The BitLocker part is ok, but when it comes to the TPM chip, I am having difficulty enabling it without having to confirm it at reboot.

Is it possible through Powershell to enable the TPM chip, without having to confirm the change?

Hi,

There is a workaround method that you can use. Windows 7 provides several tools for working with a TPM(also can be used in windows 8), you can refer to the link below for more details.

Manage-bde can't enable TPM in Windows 8, if you try to run the command, it will return a message telling you to use PowerShell.

Roger, I have seen the article and used it to figure out the TPM PowerShell commands.

The conclusion is that it's not possible to enable TPM without rebooting and accepting the change in BIOS.
