Please review: Enable Hardware settings in BIOS to run Hyper V

That model has been reported as working with 8.1 Hyper-V.

Make sure you've got the latest BIOS update and do a cold restart, ideally shut down after the BIOS update and pull the battery.

Hi,

If the issue still persists, please follow the setting below to change the BOIS setting:

1. System Configuration > Device Configurations > Virtualization Technology <-- ENABLE this
2. System Configuration > Set Security Level > Data Execution Prevention <-- set to Change
3. System Configuration > Set Security Level > Virtualization Technology <-- set to Change

We have the same Problem on 3 ProBook 4540s H5J84EA#AB9 machines

The only way to get VT-X enable and Hyper-V running is disable RT3290 at bios (Wifi and BT off)
