Empty boot.ini files
I have a XP Pro system that has been flashing "invalid boot file boot.ini" (something like that, it flashes so fast) just before Windows loads normally. I found three boot.ini files on my system: C:\boot.ini that has 0kb, C:\bootini.comodofirewall with 1 kb, and C:\boot.ini.backup with 0 kb. I uninstalled the Comodo firewall two years ago. In addition, when I check the boot.ini tab under msconfig it is empty and nothing is checked. Could this have something to do with not being able to use the keyboard to go into Safemode? I am not experiencing any other problems at this time other than not being able to use the keyboard to go into Safemode (the original reason that prompted me for going into Safemode has been resolved). Thanks, Sue1 person needs an answerI do too
