Emailing pictures with Windows 7 - fail
I just bought a new laptop. It has Window 7 on it. Whenever I download pictures from my camera to the computer I put them in a compressed zip file. I then go to my email and try to upload the file. I am unable to send it. I can send it doing it the same way from other computers (ie: Mom's desktop Vista) Any clue?1 person needs an answerI do too

Sorry about the XP forum...I've tried, yahoo, hotmail, and gmail. There is no error message. It just never loads or when it loads and I send it nothing is attached.

You need a default mail client and I'm not sure any of those apply. Try saving the images and then create a new message and then attach them rather than using the method you are trying. steve "Tab_bee" wrote in message news:372dda67-a06d-4293-a439-e329aec5000f...Sorry about the XP forum...I've tried, yahoo, hotmail, and gmail. How large is the zip file? How do you connect to the Internet? DSL? Cable? Dial-up? You may need to optimize your Internet connection. Download Dr.TCP from http://www.dslreports.com/drtcp and start with the following values: MTU - Cable = 1500. DSL = 1492. ISDN=1322. DialUp = 576.Tcp Receive - For Broadband = 256960. For DialUp = 65392.Window Scaling - YesTime Stamping - NoSelective Acks - YesPath MTU Discovery - Yes.Black Hole - NOMax Duplicate - 2TTL - 64 Also see: How to use Dr TCP: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/578 -- Lem
