I have installed Outlook from Office 2013 in Win8 on my new PC.  At installation I gave my Outlook Express POP3 email details to enable me to send and receive emails on the new PC.  I can now send but not receive emails.  How do I check the POP3 details inserted for an error or how can I uninstall Outlook and start again with a new installation?

If you can send but not receive emails, please check if your POP3 account settings are setup correctly, like Incoming mail server and port.

You need to contact your ISP to get the detailed configuration.

If there's any error after pressing Send/Receive All Folders button, it would be preferred if you could provide it.

Meanwhile, you don't need to uninstall Outlook 2013,you can create a new profile.
