The Modern UI Email App for Windows 8.1 Pro Preview is not synchronizing properly.
It was working correctly in Windows 8 Pro.
After I upgraded the OS to Windows 8.1 Pro Preview, the Email APP never worked properly.
To correct the problem, I tried the following:
1- I uninstalled the Email App, and the re-installed it.
It successfully installed and synchronized properly (the inbox), but just at the time of the re-installation.
It never more synchronized again.
If I press the synchronize button, the process never ends.
2- Then, I used the App Troubleshooter.
It showed me the following error message:
But the computer is connected to the Internet, through dial-up and not through Ethernet connection (it seems that the troubleshooter ignores the dial-up connection).
If try to troubleshoot the internet connection, the troubleshooter says my Ethernet connection misses a cable. Indeed, but I'm using dial-up connection.
I have 2 other computers with 8.1Preview working correctly thorugh dial-up.
Any suggestion?
